Retford, in Bassetlaw region, is a lovely town for shopping, with a wonderful choice of small, independent shops and people come from miles around both for shopping and leisure.
It also holds a popular, weekly General Market every Thursday and Saturday, together with an Antiques and Collectors Market every Friday and a Craft Market every Saturday.
Look out too for the lively and plentiful Farmers’ Market which welcomes shoppers on the third Saturday of every month.
Worksop
Worksop is Bassetlaw's largest town and offers a good range of high street brands and independent shops.
Like Retford, Worksop enjoys weekly open-air markets which are held on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The markets all have a good selection of fresh produce as well as fashion items, things for the home, jewellery, beauty products and more.
