About Us
Cheshire’s original escape game and number one rated attraction. Clue HQ - The Real Life Escape Games was founded in Warrington in 2014 and is now the UK’s largest Escape Game Company.
Groups of 2-6 people are locked in a themed room and must solve puzzles and follow clues to escape.
Since opening the site has received over 1,000 5* Excellent reviews, received the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence and is rated #1 for Fun and Games in Warrington.
There are 6 games to choose from: Bunker 38, The Betrayal of Cluetankhamun, Sacrifice, The Vault, The Dungeon of Doom and The Teleporter.
With varying levels of difficulty the games range to cater for people who are new to escape rooms and want to learn what they’re all about to tough and challenging for even the most avid escape room enthusiasts.
Easily accessible via bus, train or car. It’s less than a minute walk from the bus station, 10-15 minute walk from the train station and has nearby parking.
‘THE BETRAYAL OF CLUETANKHAMUN’ – The newest Clue HQ Warrington escape game.
Just over a month ago the long lost tomb of Cluetankhamun was unearthed for the first time in over 5 millennia. A team of explorers were sent in to recover the Cluetan Crystal, a jewel believed to possess the power of the Nile. It has been several days since last contact with the exploring party so it’s time to send a new expedition down into the tomb to retrieve the crystal. But watch your step – Who knows what happened to the last exploring party.

Prices vary, depending on number of players in the room:
2 - 3 players £25 per person
4 - 5 players £20 per person
6 - 7 players £18 per person

We open for advanced online bookings only.
All our games are available for between 2 and 7 players.
Student discount is available at 20% and only valid with a photographic student ID card which must be shown on arrival (games of 3 players or more only). All student ID cards must be valid and before their shown expiry date. Use code student20 when booking.

Those over 7 years old are welcome, though we feel under 10s may find it too difficult.
Those under 16 must have a paying & participating adult over 18 year old as part of their team.

All our games are available for between 2 and 7 players but with 6 escape rooms available we will be able to accommodate your group.
Food, Drink & Catering Facilities
No food or drinks are served.
Please do not consume any alcohol before playing your game. If you arrive under the influence of any alcohol you will not be admitted or refunded. This is in the judgement of the Clue HQ team and we have the right to refuse admittance.
Parking & Transport
There is limited on-street parking, we are also located behind Cockhedge Shopping Centre, which has ample parking, or a few minutes walk from 2 pay and display car parks, opposite Central Station.
